About Graphedia

Graphedia is an award-winning digital design agency based in Wexford and Kildare. For over 25 years, we’ve been building creative, high-quality digital solutions for a diverse range of clients. We’re passionate, innovative, and committed to delivering exceptional results while fostering a collaborative and vibrant work culture.

We’re now expanding and looking for a Mid-Level Web Developer to join our full-time team in Wexford. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fun, creative, and close-knit team that values both technical skill and great personality.

The Role

As a Web Developer at Graphedia, you’ll work closely with designers, senior developer, project managers, and clients to build and support websites using PHP and WordPress. You’ll be hands-on in development, contribute to technical decision-making, and help ensure a seamless experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom websites using PHP, WordPress, and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)
  • Provide website support and resolve technical issues for clients
  • Maintain and improve existing websites for performance, accessibility, and usability
  • Liaise directly with clients via phone and email to clarify requirements and provide solutions
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to a clean, maintainable codebase
  • Debug and resolve issues using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage basic server-side tasks (e.g., hosting setup, DNS, email configuration)

While we embrace AI in development, we’re looking for developers who understand the code they write, not those fully reliant on AI tools.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Wexford.
Remote work is not available due to the nature of our client relationships and the data we handle.
Trust and in-person collaboration are key.

Promoting Life-Work Balance:

We strongly believe that a balanced life leads to greater productivity, creativity, and employee satisfaction. At Graphedia, we prioritise life-work balance over the traditional work-life balance. All staff members work 9-to-5 with flexible hours tailored to their individual needs, ensuring that they can maintain a healthy balance between professional responsibilities and personal well-being. Our commitment to fair wages and supportive working conditions reflects our understanding that employees are the most vital part of our business. We are proud to create jobs for local talent in Ireland, providing opportunities for meaningful and well-compensated work.

  • Knowledge of WordPress admin, security, and optimisation
  • Basic knowledge of web hosting, DNS, and email configuration

Who We’re Really Looking For

  • At Graphedia, we build more than just websites, we build relationships. Our clients are everything to us, and they genuinely enjoy working with our team. That’s why we’re looking for real people, not robots.
  • We want someone with personality, someone who’s friendly, engaging, and comfortable picking up the phone to talk to a client or teammate. If you’re the kind of person who enjoys helping others, can have a bit of fun while being professional, and brings positive energy into a room (or a Zoom call), you’re already halfway through the door.
  • We genuinely care about our people and the community we work in. Graphedia is proud to foster a positive, ethical, and socially responsible environment, you can view our Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) commitments here.
